Alright Speech kids, your feet are wet. We’re going to get you dunked like Achilles so your Trojan-like assault on Thornton this coming Saturday is good stuff. (That’s an allusion!)
N.B. If it is your time to start rehearsal and I am working with someone else, DO NOT hesitate to interrupt us. If you don’t, we’ll keep going until someone does which may be through your entire time slot. Knock on the door and come in when you are scheduled to do so.

Who’s going where?
The tentative roster can be found here (*.xlsx) and here (PDF). Please let me know if there are any problems!
When will it end?
Wheaton North: We should be home around 6:30p.
DGS: We should be home around 3:30p. (There are no final rounds.)
Extemp and Radio?
Wheaton North: ES will prep three times at the tournament. RS will prep at home the day before. There is Radio prep for finals.
DGS: ES will prep three times at the tournament. RS will prep at home the day before.
What time should you be at Neuqua?
Wheaton North: Bus leaves at 6:15a. Be there early.
DGS: Bus leaves at 6:30a. Be there early.

Great Tournament SATURDAY! Congrats to everyone who broke and our Captains/Category leaders who did such a great job getting everyone ready! Yeah Wildcat SpeechTeam 🙂
If Saturday’s competitors have time – could you bring in your critiques Monday or Tuesday? I will copy them and give them right back to you. I will follow up with written feedback OR we can meet Friday.
Okay – so I am going to try and cram all 12 sessions into Monday and Tuesday because I have P/T conference until 8:30 on Wednesday and Thursday. I can only remember one prescheduled time that I agreed to – if you can’t make it during one of the times listed, email me and I will see if I can work something out. Perhaps we could meet on Friday either at school or at the 95th street library.

WEEK OF Nov. 7 – Nov.11
We have a whacky week what with parent teacher conferences and Veteran’s Day so pay close attention to what is happening with rehearsals. We are meeting as categories this week. *BUT* we are meeting as category buddies. Check out the schedule to see what I mean. We will use this time to look at critiques, hear from the varsity members that went to go see the novices, and have some general discussions on how to practice WELL.
