Who?

All of you! This is required for all Speech members (unless you have spoken to me already). Family members and friends are encouraged to attend!

When?

Monday, November 19^th.

Speech team members should arrive at 5:00p for pictures. Dress in Speech attire! Look good!

Family members and friends should arrive at 5:15p for a welcome and announcements!

Performances begin promptly at 5:30p.

At 7:00p, we will move to the auditorium for special performances. We should be done before 8:00p.

What should you bring?

If you are in the following categories, you should bring snacks (cookies, chips, brownies, muffins, etc): ES, HDA, HI, IS, Dec, OO, DI, PR

If you are in the following categories, you should bring drinks (juice, soda): RS, DDA, Poe, SOS

You will both prep at the tournament with one round being double-judged. You will prep again in finals.

What time should you be at Neuqua?

The bus leaves at 5:30a. Be there early!

What time will we return?

Probably close to 6:30p.

Wheaton North: We should be home around 6:30p.

DGS: We should be home around 3:30p. (There are no final rounds.)

Extemp and Radio?

Wheaton North: ES will prep twice at the tournament (and against for finals). RS will prep at home the day before. There is Radio prep for finals.

DGS: ES will prep three times at the tournament. RS will prep at home the day before.

What time should you be at Neuqua?

Wheaton North: Bus leaves at 6:30a. Be there early.

Hello Team:

Yes, DGN is in the books and the novices performed as well as any coach could ask! Thank you varsity members for your attention and work helping to get the novices ready.

Now, it’s on to two meets per weekend. For the varsity member…Hello, Wheaton North. Being a goofy school week with parent/teacher conferences, it’s going to be a challenge to get to everyone, but I know you will all continue rehearsing regardless of if you are seeing me or not.

REMEMBER—On Monday and Thursday, YOU ALL MUST CLEAR OUT OF THE D-WING BY 4:00! No exceptions. Teachers need to get ready for the parents. Be respectful of that.

On Monday and Tuesday, you will meet me in B206 because that’s how I need it to be for this week. Thank you.
