Neuqua Valley Speech Team

For all seniors who have been on the team for at least three years, you can download the application for the David Scheidecker Memorial Scholarship here!

It will be due Monday, April 20^th. Please turn it in to Mr. Pontarelli in B200 by the end of the day.

For those who submitted applications to become a captain, interviews will be held Wednesday and Thursday. Please sign up for a time slot below!

The Speech Banquet will take place at Tamarack Golf Club on Wednesday, March 18 starting at 5:30p (usually ending around 8:30p).

Your family and friends are invited to join us.

The cost is $14/person (to cover dinner) and all checks should be made out to “Wildcat Speech.”

Please give all checks to La Scola (in B100 at Main) or Mason (at the Birkett Center) by March 6^th.

I said in the letter to parents we would be staying at the Pere Marquette hotel. Actually, we’ll be staying in the Courtyard Peoria.

Both are in the same location (they’re literally attached to each other), but the number directly to the hotel is 309-686-1900, in case you need it.

Thursday night, we will have our Sectional runthrough at 6:00p in the Forum Room! Please invite your friends and family members to join us! (This is a mandatory event for team members.)

Saturday, we will go to Wheaton North High School for the Sectional tournament. Bus leaves from Neuqua at 6:30a (be there early) and we should be home around 7:30p. (Everyone is required to attend!)
