Congratulations to all of you who made the State Series today. As most of you know, this is a crucial week. It does not matter whether you take 1st or 4th this weekend, so long as you keep on keeping on to Sectionals on Feb. 13.

This past month does not matter. Each meet is a new meet. Take each moment of the meet one round at a time. You can only control one thing…yourself.

Please bring a copy of your script and be memorized. I can’t fix anything with your memory issues if the piece is not memorized in the first place!

This is crunch time for pieces; work the kinks out of the scripts, tape yourself and watch what you do well and what you need to improve, record your voice (radio people) to hear the mistakes and fix those issues that just don’t “seem” right; they probably need fixing.

Practice. Practice. Practice.

DGS Friday: Bus leaves at 3:00p on Friday. (***Everyone, including people who are not competing, must be dressed and ready to go by then!***) We’ll meet near the main building auditorium. Be there early!

DGS Saturday: Bus leaves at 6:30a on Saturday. Be there early!

Oswego East: Bus leaves at 6:30a. Be there early!

When will it end?

DGS Friday: We should be back by 10:00p.

DGS Saturday: We should be back by 6:00p.

Oswego East: We should be back around 4:30p.

Extemp and Radio?

DGS: There are preps for every round. RS has 45-minute preps but ES has 30 minute preps!

Oswego East: ES/RS will both prep once in prelims and once for finals.
